Get ready for a little more traffic and construction.
Improvements for the Weatherford and Belknap bridge are set to start July 17 and for the duration of the construction traffic will be condensed into one lane in each direction.
The City of Fort Worth website says that construction on the downtown Fort Worth east-west thoroughfares should be completed by the end of August. The improvements include the replacing of bridge panels and concrete on Weatherford and Belknap streets.
The website says to expect delays and to follow all of the posted signs while construction is occurring.
