Ongoing freeway construction continues, with the following closure remaining for Interstate 30 near downtown Fort Worth:
• Two right lanes of eastbound I-30 between University Drive and Summit Avenue will remain closed through the morning of Sunday Aug. 16. No entrance or exit ramps will be affected. The closure began on 9 p.m. Thursday Aug. 13.
The closure is needed for construction activities associated with the Chisholm Trail Parkway project, the 27.6-mile conduit from Cowtown’s business district south to U.S. 67 in Cleburne.
The closure is subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
