Lee Graham Reporter Amanda Moreno Cross, a Dallas businesswoman and community volunteer, has been appointed to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit board of directors. Cross owns several Dallas businesses, including real-estate company 2 Equinas & Bishop Arts, consulting firm C&K Capital, and commercial investment company VA Capital. She also provides consulting services for Victor Ballas Investments, Weir Brothers and Morris Law Firm. She also serves as president of the Lake Cliff Towers Condominiums Homeowners Association. She is a past chairwoman of the membership and economic development committees of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and has served in different roles for the Southern Dallas Development Corp. and the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce. Cross will serve on several DART Board committees, including Economic Opportunity and Diversity, Administrative, Revenue, Audit and Security, Safety, Public Relations and Operations. lgraham@bizpress.net
