BrandFX LLC, a Fort Worth-based company that produces advanced composite service truck bodies, providing line bodies, service bodies, inserts, toppers covers, and toppers for utility and service fleets, is laying off 60 Fort Worth employees, according to a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission.
According to the letter from the company to the Texas Workforce Commission on Oct. 19, BrandFX is consolidating some manufacturing operations to its Pocahontas, Iowa, facility. The letter says the job reductions will occur over the next 60 days.
According to The Messenger, a newspaper in Fort Dodge, Iowa, BrandFX has made a $1.5 million investment in the Iowa plant.
