I-30 travelers sought for study

Travel Interstate 30, once known as the Turnpike? Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) wants to hear from you. TTI seeks input from I-30/Tom Landry Highway travelers, in particular, travelers on Interstate Highway 30 between Dallas and Arlington. Transportation planners would like to know if incentives, such as reduced transit fare or discounts at local merchants, would impact the commuter’s travel and potentially encourage use of I-30 Managed Lanes. TTI and the North Central Texas Council of Governments launched a survey last month asking motorists for input on this stretch of Tom Landry Highway. It is all part of an effort to better manage congestion and provide more reliable trips through Dallas-Fort Worth. Â
