Ongoing freeway construction has prompted the following closures from 9 p.m. Monday Nov. 9 through 5 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 10:

· All lanes of eastbound and westbound 28th Street at Interstate 35W will be closed. Eastbound traffic will be redirected to Northside Drive and westbound traffic will be redirected to 33rd Street.

· The on-ramp to southbound I-35W from Northeast 28th Street will be closed. Traffic will be redirected to the next entrance at Northside Drive.

· There will be rolling full freeway closures on northbound and southbound I-35W at 28th Street.

The work is part of the $1.4 billion North Tarrant Express 35W project. The project includes a section currently ranked eighth on the state’s most congested roadway list along 6.5 miles of I-35W from north of Interstate 30 to north of Loop 820, including the I-35W/Loop 820 interchange in Fort Worth.
