Overnight closures planned for Interstate 30 Aug. 9-10
Westbound Interstate Highway 30 will be closed from 9 p.m. Aug. 9 until 6 a.m. Aug. 10, and eastbound IH 30 will close from 9 p.m. Aug. 10 until 6 a.m. Aug. 11 so crews can install concrete traffic barriers, the city of Fort Worth said in a news release.
Traffic will be detoured to the frontage roads, and the Chapel Creek Boulevard Bridge over IH 30 will be closed. Detoured interstate traffic will not have stop signs, but Chapel Creek Boulevard motorists will have stop signs. Traffic on Chapel Creek Boulevard will be required to turn right onto the frontage roads.
