Lockheed Martin Corp. has announced the redesign of www.F35.com, the official website of the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. The new design features enhanced functionality and compatibility with several mobile devices while providing users up-to-date information on the F-35 program. “The new design stemmed from our desire to provide a site that makes it easy to get the latest news about the F-35 program,” said Joe LaMarca, vice president of communications with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co., the Fort Worth-based aeronautics segment of Lockheed Martin Corp, commenting in a news release. The redesigned website includes localized, translated information about partner and foreign military sales countries; access to F-35 photos and videos; and a design intended to optimize mobile or tablet browsing. The website also serves as the hub for the F-35’s social media presence and offers the public the opportunity to ask questions to F-35 test pilots. Lockheed Martin Corp., based in Bethesda, Md., is a global security and aerospace company employing about 120,000 people worldwide. It designs, develops, builds and builds advanced technology systems, products and services. More information is available at www.lockheedmartin.com.
