Love’s Travel Stop opens in Bridgeport, adds 50 jobs to Wise County

Love’s Travel Stops’ newest location opened for business Thursday, Dec. 7, in Bridgeport. The new 24/7 travel stop is located at 2300 U.S. Highway 380 and will add about 50 jobs to Wise County.

To commemorate the store’s opening, Love’s will hold a ribbon cutting with the Wise County Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18. Additionally, during the ceremony, Love’s will present a $2,000 donation to the City of Bridgeport Parks and Recreation Department.

“With its location on U.S. Highway 380 and its proximity to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Bridgeport is an ideal location to serve many types of customers, including residents, professional drivers, and travelers,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s, in a news release. “As always, customers can expect the ‘Clean Places, Friendly Faces’ Love’s is known for.”

The facility features coffee, fruit, snacks, an Arby’s restaurant and a game room.

According to the release, professional drivers can take advantage of 51 truck parking spaces, diesel-fuel pumps, showers and laundry facilities.

With the opening of this location, Oklahoma City-based Love’s now has 65 travel stops in Texas and more than 440 stores nationwide.
