Mayor: Two companies, 600 jobs coming to Fort Worth

While the attention of much of Washington, D.C. was focused on Capitol Hill, Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price was in the city to attend an Economic Summit at the White House.

During the event, Price said Fort Worth will soon be the home to two new companies in the manufacturing/logistics field that will bring over 600 jobs.

A spokeswoman for the Mayor’s office said that is “about all we can disclose at this point.” She also said the jobs could have easily gone to China if it weren’t for some of the tax cuts enacted by the Trump Administration.
