The northbound Montgomery Street ramp to University Drive west of downtown Fort Worth will close from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Aug. 16 as Chisholm Trail Parkway construction continues.

As a detour, motorists traveling on northbound Chisholm Trail Parkway to University Drive may take the Montgomery Street exit, turn left on Montgomery and right on the eastbound Interstate 30 frontage road to University Drive.

Motorists traveling on eastbound Vickery Boulevard to reach University Drive may take the same detour, though the Montgomery Street-to-Rosedale Street bridge will remain open during the closure.

As with all closures, the Saturday closure is subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary, according to a North Texas Tollway Authority news release.

More information about upcoming lane closures and traffic-related news along North Texas Tollway Authority roadways may visit the “scheduled lane closures” link at www.ntta.org or call 817-207-0814.
