Power Service Products plans Weatherford expansion

Power Service Products Inc. plans to build an additional 100,000-square-foot bulk storage and blending facility to meet increasing customer demand for its diesel additives.

The new facility will join the company’s manufacturing and corporate offices at 513 Peaster Highway in Weatherford.

Construction is expected to reach completion in March 2016

“Our decision to expand is the result of an ever-increasing demand for our products in the marketplace,” said company president Ed Kramer in a news release.

“We must produce them in greater quantities, quickly and efficiently to reach our customers and network of distributors in a timely manner,” Kramer said.

Power Service Products opened for business in 1956 in a single-vehicle garage. The third-generation family- and veteran-owned firm’s research lab develops proprietary-formulated diesel fuel additives. The products are available at truck stops and automotive retailers nationwide.
