Ryder opens 28,000-square-foot facility in Saginaw

🕐 1 min read

Miami, Florida-based Ryder System, Inc. has opened a new maintenance facility in Saginaw. The 28,000-square-foot building sits on 14.5 acres of land at 1325 Triad Blvd.

Ryder, a commercial fleet management and supply chain solutions company, has more than 800 locations in North America providing truck rental, truck maintenance and pre-owned vehicle sales.

The company said the Saginaw facility is its largest in Texas and will serve about 100 customers in the area, employing up to 60 employees.

“As Ryder looks to enhance our service for new and existing commercial lease and rental customers across Texas, our goal is to ensure we have a premier facility equipped to meet both those needs,” John Diez, president of Fleet Management Solutions at Ryder, said in a press release.

The new facility is equipped with six and a half maintenance bays, 13 work stations, and a three-lane diesel fuel service island to support a broad range of diesel vehicles.

The facility includes an automated drive-through wash bay and a battery charging room. It also includes a 7,000-square-foot customer service area with a full-service rental counter, a drivers’ lounge, and two floors housing a reception area along with rental and lease sales offices.

“The Dallas-Fort Worth region continues to expand,” Diez said. “From population and job growth to warehouse industry investments, the region has exceeded our expectations with double-digit growth in the last few years.”
