Southlake business gets Shark Tank deal

Santa got a deal.

Mitchell Allen and his Southlake-based business HireSanta got a deal on ABC’s Shark Tank on Sunday Dec. 2.

HireSanta is – no surprise – a six-year old business that helps oranizations hire professional Santa Clauses.

Head elf Allen made his pitch to the sharks Mark Cuban, Barbara Corcoran, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner and Daymond John.

Corcoran bought into his idea and made a $200,000 deal with Mitchell.

Mitchell is a member of The Entrepreneurs’ Organization Fort Worth Chapter, a global organization for entrepreneurs.

HireSanta has the largest database of background-checked and insured professional Santa Claus entertainers and has sent professional Santas to work all over the world at corporate, community and private events. Allen, a serial entrepreneur and the chief elf at HireSanta, started the company in 2012. He has been a member of EO for 11 years, was a charter member of EO Fort Worth when the chapter was formed 6 years ago and was recently elected as incoming president for the year 2020-21. His core business is an Internet lead generation company in the consumer legal services industry.
