Carrier gets into bowl game spirit with more flights for fans to root on their hometown teams in Southern California
Southwest Airlines Co. announced, on Tuesday, Dec. 12, new flights that will get football fans from Oklahoma City and Atlanta to Los Angeles just in time for New Year’s Day kickoff.
According to a news release, based on demand from fans in Oklahoma and Georgia, the carrier has added additional nonstop options for fans to get to the bowl game in Pasadena, California.
“These additional flights will make it easier for so many of our Customers and college football fans to see their teams battle it out on the gridiron,” Brook Sorem, senior director of schedule planning, said in the release.
“If you’re traveling on game day, make sure to bring your own WiFi enabled device to tune in to our free live TV available via onboard entertainment portal to cheer on your team,” Sorem continued.
The carrier added the following flights to its schedule:
