Due to excavation on Globe Life Field scheduled to begin early next month, the Rangers released a news release detailing the following closures to take place Friday, Sept. 15:
–Nolan Ryan Expressway is now closed from south of Randol Mill Road to Cowboys Way.
–Most of Tundra Parking Lot B is now closed, except the northeast quadrant at the corner of Randol Mill Road and Stadium Drive.
Manhattan Construction Company, Globe Life Field general contractor, is overseeing the work.
In early October, excavation will take place in the east portion of what was Tundra Parking Lot B. This work is in addition to the utility work that began in August to relocate a sanitary sewer line in what was Nolan Ryan Expressway.
As of the Rangers’ Monday, Sept. 25 home game, Tundra Parking Lot B season parking will only be available through Stadium Drive’s B3 entrance. Updating parking and traffic information can also be found at texasrangers.com
