Texas Jet at 40

Texas Jet, an FBO on Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW), is celebrating 40 years of service.

The business is well-known in the Fort Worth community and aviation industry for its superior customer service, friendliness and amenities, which include 23 hangars totaling more than 450,000 square feet, the company said in a news release.

Texas Jet has been ranked the No. 1 Independent U.S. FBO for the last three consecutive years in Professional Pilot Magazine’s annual Preferences Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment (PRASE) Survey.

President Reed Pigman credits Texas Jet’s staff for this achievement and for embracing Texas Jet’s Culture of Excellence. In fact, Texas Jet’s Customer Service Manager Holly Hopkins has consistently placed in the top CSRs in the country and is currently ranked as No. 2.

On Oct. 9, Texas Jet celebrated its 40th anniversary with 200 customers and friends.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the event spotlighted the Moncrief Cancer Institute’s Mobile Cancer Survivor Clinic, an innovative 18-wheeler that brings breast cancer screening at no cost to underprivileged people in the nine-county area surrounding Fort Worth, who otherwise would not have access to these important services.

Texas Jet made a sizeable donation to support this mobile, life-saving unit. And to top it off, Texas Jet unveiled a pink tug that it will use in its day-to-day operations to remind everyone that the fight against breast cancer is an on-going battle.

Texas Jet has been a proud Phillips 66 dealer since 1981 and was honored in 2017 when Phillips 66 presented Texas Jet the 2017 Commitment Award.
