Texas retail gasoline prices down 3 cents this week

COPPELL, Texas (AP) — Texas gasoline prices have slipped 3 cents per gallon this week.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported the statewide average at the pump was $2.06 per gallon. Drivers across the U.S. are paying an average $2.22 per gallon, down 4 cents from a week ago.

Amarillo has the cheapest gasoline in Texas this week at an average $1.89 per gallon. The association survey found El Paso with the most expensive gasoline statewide this week at $2.14 per gallon.

AAA says the prices at the pump should continue to slide since wholesale gasoline prices and crude oil prices have both slipped in the last week.
