Juma Spears, Sammy Kidd and Francine Thirteen will perform exclusively at the Modern.

The performances at the Modern’s auditorium are entirely free to attend, but due to limited space interested attendees must RSVP in advance through dedicated links that will go live on Sunday, April 1. However, Fortress ticket-buyers will have the first opportunity to RSVP to these auditorium performances.

The 2018 event will be entirely housed within the spacious lawn adjacent to the Will Rogers Coliseum and will include two outdoor main stages featuring non-overlapping sets in an effort by organizers to address attendees’ concerns from the festival’s inaugural year regarding the distance and overall entry process between the main stages.

Patrons will have the option to leave the festival and visit the Modern using their festival wristband for both the free auditorium shows on Saturday, and general access to the Museum both days of the festival.

Continuing the tradition established last year, both GA and VIP passes offer free access to the Modern’s galleries during the festival; specific admission hours will be announced at a later time. The finalized festival sitemap and layout will be revealed closer to the festival dates.

Early bird single-day passes are $44 and two-day general admission tickets is on sale now for $99 while supplies last as well as two-day VIP passes for $225 at www.FortressFestival.com/tickets.

Regular prices increase to $59 and $149 for GA and VIP single-day passes, respectively. Festival parking passes are also available for purchase for just $15 per day or $25 for a two-day pass.

Both general admission and VIP passes offer free access to the Modern’s galleries during the festival. Gallery hours will be announced at a later time.
